OHIO to MAINE & the Canada Border

Leaving Cleveland along the shores of Lake Erie, we traveled eastward, first crossing into Pennsylvania. Our journey continued through New York State, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire, before reaching Maine—our final U.S. state before entering Canada. Along the way, we visited numerous fishing and historic villages, including Old Sturbridge, Rockport, Bar Harbor, Lubec, and the iconic West Quoddy Head Lighthouse, which marks the easternmost point of the continental United States—and the closest point in the U.S. to both Europe and Africa.

After three years exploring the USA (in three separate 6-month stints), we finally entered our 144th and final overland destination in our journey around the world: Canada.
