As long as you’re willing to venture off the Trans-Canada Highway, Manitoba is anything but boring. It’s a hidden gem rich with vibrant culture, breathtaking natural beauty, and, like the rest of Canada, incredibly welcoming communities.
We were amazed by the abundance of wildlife in this rugged park. Riding Mountain National Park boasts one of the largest populations of black bears in North America, as well as timber wolves, moose, cougars, lynx, and many other species.
It was also the first time we came face-to-face with a black bear—an unforgettable moment that added a real sense of awe and respect for the wilderness around us.
